Qualification Standards for UGC NET 2015:-
Junior Research Fellowship: The age limit for JRF is 28 years old.

EXEMPTION (QUALIFICATION FOR LECTURESHIP):-

iii) For SET Nominees: Candidates that have cleared the State Qualification Test (SET) accredited by UGC for qualification for Lectureship held prior to 1st June 2002, are exempted from appearing in NET and are qualified to make an application for Lectureship anywhere in India. For SET held from 1 st onwards, nominees that are capable qualify to submit an application for the post of lecturer only in the universities/ schools from where they’ve cleared their SET.
