About IBPS CWE (RRB)

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) runs a Common Written Assessment (CWE) on behalf of 62 Regional Rural Banks as a pre-requisite for selection of Group An Officers  (Scale-I,  II,  III)  and  Group  B  Assistants (Multipurpose).  The  concluding recruitment  is  conducted  independently  by  each  participating  RRB  which  issues  a separate notification defining the number of eligibility criteria and vacancies.

Qualifications :-

Following are the fundamental criteria for applying to the IBPS RRB exam. Nonetheless, every bank will have its own standards which for being eligible for selection to the specific post, the nominee needs to fulfill.

1. Nationality
A nominee must be one of the following:

(b) A subject of Nepal or Bhutan

(c)  A  Tibetan  refugee  who  came  over  to  India  before  01/01/1962  with  the  aim  of permanently settling in India (d)  A  person  of  Indian  origin  who  has  migrated  from  other  states  (detailed  record  of countries available on official notification) with the intention of permanently settling in India Supplied  that  the  candidate  belonging  to  categories  (b),  (c)  and  (d)  above  shall be a person  in  whose  favour  a  certificate  of  eligibility  has  been  issued  by  the  the  Indian authorities.

2. Age (as on 01 07 2013 for September 2013 exam)

Between 18 – 28 years (Nominees should not have been born earlier than 02/07/1985 and later than 01/07/1995)

— Policeman Scale – I: Between 18 – 28 years (Candidates should not have been born before than 03/07/1985 and later than 30/06/1995)

— Policeman Scale – II: Between 21 – 32 years (Nominees should not have been born before than 03/07/1981 and after than 30/06/1992)

— Officer Scale – III: Between 21 – 40 years (Candidates shouldn’t have been born before than 03/07/1973 and later than 30/06/1992) Examination Format The exam is an objective test conducted online. How to Apply :-

— Enroll and get the registration number and password.

— The application fee for General class is Rs. Pay using either:
