SSC JE Exam 2015 is a national level written examination organized and conducted by Staff Selection Commission to screen candidates for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer in the various departments under the Government of India. The examination is conducted in offline mode i.e. as pen and paper based test. The selection of the candidates shall be done on the basis of the written examination and personal Interview. As per the recent announcement issued by the Commission, the official notification shall be released on 29 March 2015 and the exam shall be held on 30 August 2015. Important Dates of SSC JE Exam 2015
i. Scheduled date of release of Official Notification and Application Form : 29 March 2015
ii. Last Date for filling the Application Form: 27 April 2015
iii. Date of Written Examination : 30 August 2015
Successful candidates in the SSC JE Exam 2015 will be recruited to the post of Junior Engineer in the following departments-
i. Junior Engineer (Civil) and (Electrical) in Central Public Works Department (CPWD) & Department of Posts
ii. Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) in Border Roads Organization (BRO) under Ministry of Defence
iii. Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) & Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contract) in Military Engineering Service (MES)
iv. Junior Engineer (Civil & Mechanical) in Central Water Commission (CWC) and Farakka Barrage.
Know about Application Form
For your information, the application form shall be released along with the official notification on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission on 29 Marc 2015. The application form shall be available via online mode only. Applications submitted by the applicant in any mode other than the online mode shall be rejected. So, interested candidates must make sure that they submit the applications as per the prescribed mode, upload the required documents and pay the requisite fee.
Most importantly, candidates must go through the detailed notification before applying. It is highly essential to fulfill all the minimum eligibility conditions to be eligible to apply. In case at a later stage, any candidate is found to have produced false information regarding the qualification or any other important details, shall be banned from taking the examination in future.
Know Pattern for SSC JE Exam 2015
There shall be two papers – Paper I and Paper II which shall be conducted on the same day subsequently. However, it is important to note that evaluation of Paper II of only those candidates shall be done who would qualify Paper I as per the discretion of the commission .
Paper-I shall solely be comprised of the Objective Type Multiple Choice questions only. Candidates will be provided OMR Answer sheets to mark their answers.
