The Staff Selection Commission will shortly declare the results for the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2014. The CHSL Re-exam has been held on 15 February at various allotted test centers. The CHSL exam is primarily conducted for recruitment of candidates to Group C vacant posts of Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operators in various Central Government Ministries and Departments. After the SSC CHSL 2014 Result has been declared,the Staff Selection Commission will also release a Cutoff List. Candidates have to meet the minimum cutoff percentile, in order to qualify for further rounds of the selection process. Candidates who qualify in the written examination and secure the minimum qualifying marks, will be eligible to appear for the Skill test/Typing test. The Skill test/Typing test will be of qualifying nature and will be administered in both Hindi and English languages. Candidates will have to indicate their language option in their application form. Candidates who qualify in the skill test, will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their performance in the CHSL 2014 written examination. Selection will be done on the basis of candidates merit positions and the various posts/departments for which the candidate has exercised his/her option.
