Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam will be held on Sunday, 15 February 2015. Union Public Service Commission will issue admit card for the same in either January end or February 2015 starting.
CDS exam will be conducted by UPSC for recruitment of young and brave candidates into Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academ. Exam is conducted twice a year, once in February and then in November. Notification for CDS 2015 in February has already been issued and application forms for the it can be filled till 5 December 2014. Candidates must submit form along with fee till 5 December, in prescribed format. Otherwise, admit card will not be issued to the candidates.
CDS 2015 admit card will be issued online only. UPSC will not send admit card via post to any candidate. To attain admit card, candidates may follow the steps below:
- Visit the official website of UPSC
- Seek the link directing for homepage to download admit card.
- Click specific tab for CDS 2015 admit card.
- Candidates will have to enter some details, like roll number date of birth etc.
- Mention required details and submit request to download admit card.
- Download displayed CDS admit card
Candidates must secure multiple copies of it because admit card is an important documents and candidates will not be allowed to write exam without it. Candidates must check all the information in admit card thoroughly. Admit card will contained in hall ticket/ admit card will be:
- Candidate’s name
- Exam Name
- Candidates Roll Number
- Candidates Application Number
- Exam Date
- Exam Venue
- Timing of Exam
- Date of Birth
- Photograph of Candidate
- Some General Instructions
If any error is found in admit card then candidates must inform the authorities about it. Candidates can either inform via a mail or letter to UPSC. Manual changes are not suggested. They may lead to disqualification.
Candidates must remember that admit card is a vital document. Candidates entry to exam hall will be held against it. If candidate fails to produce admit card, he/ she will not be allowed to write the exam. Candidates must be able to produce admit card whenever asked by the invigilator. Information contained in admit card makes it a document of identity proof. It proves that candidate coming to write exam is same as that who applied for it.
