IAS Mains 2014 Admit Card for the Civil Service Exam

The Union Public Service Commission has issued the IAS Mains 2014 Admit Card. Candidates who have registered for the IAS Mains 2014 Exam, can download their admit cards from the UPSC official website. The Civil Services or IAS Mains 2014 Exam will be held from 14 December to 20 December, 2014.UPSC will conduct the civil service examination for recruitment of candidates to various administrative posts of the Central Government.

The IAS Mains 2014 Admit Card is a vital document and candidates will be allowed to appear for the IAS Mains Exam, only on producing an authentic copy of the admit card. UPSC will not dispatch the admit cards to candidates by courier or post. Candidates should therefore, download the admit cards from the UPSC official website before the examination. The admit card will contain information such as the Name of candidate, Fathers Name,Roll Number,Venue, Time and Date of Exam, Mode of Exam, the Papers included and Photograph and Signature of the candidate. Candidates should carefully verify all the details stated on the admit card. In case, candidates find any error or misprint in their admit cards they should notify the UPSC examining authorities immediately. The UPSC will make the necessary corrections against such request and issue a new admit card.

Candidates can follow the set of simple steps given below, in order to download their IAS Mains 2014 Admit Card:

  • Candidates should visit the UPSC official website.
  • The homepage of the website will contain a relevant link for download of the “UPSC IAS Mains 2014 Admit Card
  • Provide requisite details such as Date of birth, Registration Number/Roll Number etc.
    The admit card will be displayed on the screen automatically.
  • Candidates should generate a printout of the admit card on an A-4 size sheet and secure it carefully till the end of the recruitment process.

Candidates should not tamper with their admit cards or make any changes therein. Neither should candidates make any attempt to transfer their admit cards to any other person, as impersonation is a punishable offense.
